I am trying to clean up our database, and one of the first projects I want to tackle is handling junk/invalid leads. Looking for advice in regards to do you delete junk leads vs. marketing suspend vs. mark them as inactive. Also how to handle the SFDC side - delete them in SFDC or keep them? We (the...
Thanks Kirsten! I have just started using segmentations this past month so it's still a new concept. I love the idea of having a segmentation for Valid Email Addresses - I'll implement it right now! Are there any other segmentations that you would recommend?
I'm doing some data cleansing and one of the issues I want to deal with is records that have used a temporary or fake email address to register via our forms and are already in our database.Ex: domains like @mailinator.com, @mytrashmail.com, @oneoffemail.com, @yopmail.comNot sure what the best appro...

In the alert email, I would like to include what was the last SFDC Campaign that the lead was added to that was tied to...
Thanks for the help!So actually we were just targeting domain.com but now added in the @ in front which should fix it.
I have a list of email domains that I need to target. I tried using the query "Email Address contains @xxxxxxx.com" but it looks like the "contains" constraint looks for strings and it will pick up any string even if it apart of a larger one. Is there a way to target the entire domain string?
Thanks Amanda! This is very helpful. I did what you suggested so now it looks like we have to fix our duplicates issue for this subset first. We will create a separate queue once we are ready to sync these over and label them as 'Suspect'.
Thanks for your help!I tried that query and just randomly checked some of the leads from the Smart List, and found that some did exist in Salesforce as Contacts (checked their email address). Is there some other filter I need to add?
