Tasks don't get assigned to correct lead owners.

We have created a program in Marketo that assigns a task to the lead owner if a field is changed in salesforce.

Data Value Changes > Create Task and assign to lead owner.

However, all get assigned instead to out salesforce admin.

What could be the issue?

Try putting in a Wait step in the Flow of at least 5-6 minutes to give time for the data to sync up from MKTO <-> SFDC.

Re: Tasks don't get assigned to correct lead owners.

Are all your leads already assigned in SFDC?  If not you will need to sync to SFDC, assign if the lead owner email address is empty, then as Adam pointed out, insert a wait step to give the information time to sync over to SFDC.  After the wait step you can create your task and assign to the lead owner.

Re: Tasks don't get assigned to correct lead owners.

Thank you for all your help. Appreciate it very much. The 5 minute wait helped.
We have just also noticed that in activity history in Salesforce all the emails from the program are assigned to the SFDC Admin as well instead of the lead owner. Is there a way to fix that? Those need to be assigned to the lead owner.
