Hi All,
We came across an issue in our Marketo instance where are not getting correct count from SFDC campaigns. We have a native integration with Salesforce. Campaign members as per SF shows 513 members whereas the smart campaigns shows 949 contacts. We are using this filter in the smartlist of smart campaign.
We identified another issue where the count is coming up low in Marketo. Has anyone faced this issue and any possible solution for this.
Thanks

Bear in mind that Member of SFDC Campaign depends on Marketo replicating the entire Campaign Member object from SFDC. In other words, it doesn’t check in real-time, it makes a copy and checks the copy.
If the sync hasn’t completed, including syncing deletes, you will by definition have different counts.

Hi @GauravChauhan Another issue to consider if you are using any kind of Opt-In or preference centre based on consent, is the consent the leads.
If through Market they can have explicit consent as an MQL, but is a SAL through CRM then consent could be missed and not reflected in Marketo - difference between marketing and Sale explicit content reflected in your lists.
Also, to chime in with an unsatisfying answer, I have had the above happen where the campaign counts did not match and it was an actual problem where I needed to engage support.
While this isn't the most fun option, are you able to identify contacts where the discrepancies are? Is there something about those contacts that might be causing an issue? If the above suggested solutions aren't helping, it might be worth doing a bit of digging and reaching out to support.
Great suggestions so far! I'd like to ask whether this has been happening recently after you made changes to any sync or Salesforce org. Eg. added a new record type to which the Marketo sync user doesn't have access, thereby not being able to pull all the SFDC records in Marketo. Additionally, you should consider checking the activity logs of people who are not syncing, as Christiane mentioned.
