Marketo Blackcat Error

When we try to push Smart Lists from the Database in Marketo to the Ad Platforms we get an error 'Blackcat not enabled for smart list audience sync'.  We can't find 'Blackcat' and how to solve this error and Marketo's support team is completely ignoring all of our questions and requests when we need help with such errors that are not documented.

I strongly feel that Marketo's support team is the only one who could help you in this regard. To give you a little background about blackcat - Marketo stores it's data in the SQL databases and SQL is slow for queries, hence in order to make the SL processing and data rendering faster, Marketo also pushes the data in a big-data indexer that can process the queries from the SL/SC etc. relatively faster. Blackcat is the API that facilitates the connection b/w Marketo SLs and indexer DB. AFAIK - you'd need to get the blackcat error fixed from the Marketo engineering team, as this is something that falls in to their realm and can't be fixed by the end users.

Agree with Darshil. Try emailing supportescalations@marketo.com with the info, and cc your CSM. This is something engineering needs to fix.
