Hi! I'd like to link a button to a mailto: and have an email composer pop up for people who click on the link. Is it possible to customize the subject line of the email that pops up for the user?
I'm not sure what you meant by the email composer popping up, but to customize a subject line, you can use tokens or dynamic content (segments).
yes
mailto:josh@whatever.com?subject=XXXX

Hi Safia Abbasi
I have the same question and was wondering if you were able to get an answer on this "Is it possible to pre-fill a subject line on a mailto hyperlink?" if yes, could you please share your solution.
Appreciate your help.
Josh answered the question above.
Thank you, Sanford Whiteman it worked.
I have another concern about the web browser opening up when clicking on the mailto link. I read the article you shared but it refers to the mailto link in text only or where the window to uncheck the tracking pops up. Actually, I'm using the mailto in a CTA (see pic) and I don't see an option to uncheck the tracking here. Is there a way to stop the tracking or the web browser window opening up?'
Thanks for the help!
You have to add the class mktNoTrack to the link manually.
