hi everyone,
I have an issue with a trigger in a smart campaign where I chose "Email bounces" as trigger to send a different email to those for whom the original email was bounced. The reason for the bounce was that a colleague used an email from a non-approved domain, so we fixed the issue and wanted to send it only to those for whom it had bounced. But somehow it doesn't do anything. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Did you create a trigger campaign and activate it after the event occurred? That won't work, you gave to use a batch campaign and filter. Trigger campaigns don't play catch-up.*

Hi @Len199307 ,
As Sanford mentioned, Marketo triggers are designed to listen to activities which will happen after the trigger is set. That's why the trigger says "Email Bounces" & the filter says "Email Bounced" listening to activities already happened.
Since in your use case the activity is already happened your trigger will keep waiting for that event to happen & nothing will be performed of flow step.
Thanks so much for the explanation! Will then indeed try the batch campaign. But would you mind explaining why this is? I mean logically (for me at least) it makes sense that an action in the past could be used as a trigger.
