Difference between credentials - Marketo Engage Digital Marketer vs. Business Practitioner Professional

What is the difference between Adobe Qualified: Adobe Marketo Engage Digital Marketer Credential (cost $225) and Adobe Marketo Engage Business Practitioner Professional (cost $125)?

Hi @martechandtacos ,

The basic difference between the two is that BP Professional is a full certification exam & by clearing the exam you receive a certificate of BP professional & this implies that you have required knowledge to work effectively with Marketo Engage.

Where as Adobe Qualified: Adobe Marketo Engage Digital Marketer is only credential & affirms your understanding on Marketo engage concepts. When i cleared this exam last year i was only awarded a Badge & not sure if currently anything has been changed.

Also this credential is newly launched last year.

The BP certification, formerly the Marketo Certified Expert (MCE), is a more recognized credential (because it's been around for a longer time now). On the other hand, the Digital Marketer Credential is a newer, foundational certification. Because of its strong history and connection to the former MCE, the AME-BP is better for professionals looking to build their expertise and credibility in Marketo. In general, "Adobe Qualified" are more introductory level credentials, while "Adobe Business Practitioner" signifies a higher level of expertise
