Comparing Fields within the same Marketo Campaign

Hi, 

    I would like to create a smart campaign that compare whether the data in two different fields are the same.  If they are, I would send out e-mail 1.  If they are not, then I would send out a different e-mail.  Is there a good way to compare two fields within a smart camapign?

You probably want to use some sort of smart list that says

Field 1 = X
Field 2 = X

if in Smart List X, then send email A
if not in smart list x, then send email B

Hi Josh,

I would like to provide you with more context to my situation.  We are trying to compare the citizenship field with country field (Pick list of 200 some countries).  If citizenship value equals to country value, then we would send out e-mail A.  If citizenship value does not equal to country value, then I would send out e-mail B. 

I can see your solution potentially working.  It would be great if you can explain a bit more based on my context.

I have a similar question about comparing fields. I want to run a smart list or smart campaign to fill empty fields.

Example:
If ‘Inferred company’ = ‘SF_MS Company Name’ and’ Company name’ is Empty then change data value ‘Company name’to {{lead.inferred company}}

Basically, I want to know if I can do a smart list to act like: IF ‘Inferred Company’ matches (or same as)  ‘SF_MS Company Name’

I can do the rest from there.
