I am hoping someone can confirm that my understanding of communication limits is accurate.
I understanding that Marketo treats communication limits on a per day limit on any calendar day from 12am to 12am.
My question is if our system is allowed two emails per week, 1 per day, does that mean that if an email was sent to a lead at 10am on Tuesday that same lead record will not be able to receive the second email until after 10am on Wednesday of the same week? (assuming these are the only two emails sent to that lead record)
Or does the time not matter, it's just the calendar day?
Thank you!
Christine

HI Christine,
The communication limits are based on a midnight to midnight time period. So, if an email was sent at 10am on Tues, they wouldn't receive anymore emails until 12:01am on Wednesday as stated here: Enable Communication Limits - Marketo Docs - Product Docs
Thanks

Key callout is that it is based on the timezone of your instance, not the end user's time.
Per Day is based on the calendar day in the subscription time zone. (midnight-midnight)
Thank you both!
