@John_Bogdanski3 ,

Thank you for the clarification on that question. Definitely makes more sense now and I am going to go into my sandbox and work through this for better understanding. Thanks for that advice!

Just making sure everybody see this one.

Question on Engagement Programs (which sometimes are referred to as nurture programs).

In a real-world scenario, it is very likely that you use smart campaigns to manage moving people across streams in an engagement program. There is another way to do this with a built in solution. This is called? (Choose One)

  1. Stream Shifters
  2. People Movers
  3. Transition Rules
  4. Nested Smart Campaign

Bonus: Does this feature push or pull people in to a stream?

@John_Bogdanski3  - To manage moving people across streams in engagement program we can use Transition Rules.
This feature Pull people into a stream.

Correct - well done!

@John_Bogdanski3 ,

I agree with @Rishabh02T answer, transition rule and pulls into stream.

This content was pulled directly from the source he provided as well:

"Transition rules pull into a stream; always define the rules on the stream that you want to pull into."

Hi All,

This week's focus is section 3 of the prep guide (https://app.rockinfo.com/courses/playScorm/699?%2Fcourses%2FplayScorm%2F699), Lead and Data Management.

I will work on a formal quiz for later this week, but here is a warmup question:

Hey @John_Bogdanski3 !

I believe the answer to this questions is MAL for the pre marketing qualified stage

John_Bogdanski3
Level 3

That is correct! Nice job Ashley!

  • MAL = Marketing Accepted Lead
  • MQL = Marketing Qualified Lead
  • SQL = Sales Qualified Lead

This came direct from a practice exam, so something close to this is likely on the real exam.

Hi All,

I want to throw a question out there which I have seen on almost every sample test I have seen so far. I want to make sure we cover what some may consider easy but people who may not have close admin experience may not be aware of.

Q: What are the two CRM systems which Marketo natively can sync with?

Also, I try to run through sample test questions with my team on Fridays. Please let me know if you would like to join.

Hi @John_Bogdanski3  - The two CRM systems which Marketo natively can sync with are Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics.

John_Bogdanski3
Level 3

This is correct. Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics are the two big name CRMs most closely associated with Marketo.

Hi All,

@Rishabh02T , @Michelle_Dadso2 , @shilpapradhan , @n8-booth,

@agasca89

Question of the day: Which one of these cannot be shared across workspaces:

I definitely saw something similar on a practice exam recently.

Read here for more: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/marketo/using/product-docs/administration/workspaces-and-...

Hi @John_Bogdanski3 - Please correct me if I am wrong but I think we cannot share Models, smart campaign, smart lists, segmentation and programs across workspaces.

John_Bogdanski3
Level 3

Actually, the answer is programs.

Per the documentation: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/marketo/using/product-docs/administration/workspaces-and-...

You can share these items across workspaces.

agasca89

@John_Bogdanski3

I did see you can clone programs, emails, landing pages, and form and utilize drag and drop from the documentation you provided. Nice feature for sure!

John_Bogdanski3
Level 3

@agasca89 Yes, but honestly moving some things across workspaces can be challenging even when following the docs. Something I want to follow up on with support. Documentation vs real-world can get tricky. For the exam, stick with what the docs say 🙂

Hey @John_Bogdanski3 ,

You can not share programs across workspaces.

John_Bogdanski3
Level 3

Ashley is correct! You cannot share models. Here is a list per the documentation: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/marketo/using/product-docs/administration/workspaces-and-...

You can share these items across workspaces.
