Apologies for being late to the party. I had an extended weekend, and the email to this string was buried in my inbox. Now that I am on the string, I can check in daily.

Please let me know if there are areas you would like to focus on. I have been working with some team members at UPS on studying for certification this year, so I can share a bit of what we have been doing along with some sample test questions. I am looking to renew since last being certified in 2016.

Right now, here is a question related to a recent learning for a real-world scenario.

• In an engagement program, Bill has a stream with four emails.
• He needs to replace each email in the stream with the newer version of each email while making sure people who already received a previous version do not receive the new version of the same email. 
• What can Bill do to properly modify his stream so leads no longer receive old versions of the emails and only receive new versions of emails they have not yet received?

There may be more than one correct answer based on strategy. Good answers will display knowledge of key engagement program rules which are likely to be on the exam.

@John_Bogdanski3  - I think the easiest way is to just modify the contents of the emails.
This approach might affect reporting, but it can be managed if we report based on timelines of when the content was switched.

Hi Rishabh,

In a perfect world, that works fine. However, sometimes there are big overhauls, and you need some new emails. A few ways to handle are:

1. Most advanced method - You can use nested programs/smart campaigns and set anybody who had been sent a previous version of the email as a member of the program. Per the rules in the doc, emails in the smart campaign will not be sent to people who are already members of the program. The negative here is that it may take time to catch up to where they left off.
2. Generally, it is easier to create a new stream and direct people to the new content.

What knowledge is displayed here?

1. We acknowledge that people receive the top most content in a stream
2. We acknowledge nested program rules

Not a likely exam question. Pretty advanced. More to come tomorrow.
