Most of you got these correct!
1 - This one can vary by org, of course - and it's surprising that there are mixed sources across search results. But abstractly, the following is correct and offers more flexibility between date-specific and evergreen campaigns that are always active.
I could see Year and Date also being optional for evergreen campaigns, but this question had a very similar one in the official practice questions and the source below quotes it verbatim, so we'll go with that!:
[Program Type] [YYYY] [MM] [DD - Optional] [Description]
Experience League Source: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/marketo/using/product-docs/core-marketo-concepts/programs...
2. B - Everyone got this right. Great work - or was it too easy?
3 - Everyone got this right - but I don't think this one is easy. You'll likely see this be fundamentally relevant to a couple of questions on the test, but if you understand the underlying matches, it should prepare you well.
wD, xA, yC, zB.
Thanks @alludoalex this makes sense for naming conventions!
I guess I was thinking Month-Date-Year so easier to organize and find and it would sort it by the date, but I guess either way it would be organized! 🙂
Hi @alludoalex For question 1 thats exactly what i was thinking. Evergreen/sustaining campaigns, web forms, etc and operational programs wouldn't use Month, Day, or year. Whereas an event program or standalone email could.
And as you mentioned this totally depends on the org.

>>>>>
1 - [DD-Optional][MM][YYYY][Program Type][Description]
Day could be optional if it's a monthly campaign
>>>>>
2 - In constructing a scoring model, where should score values be stored to improve flexibility, management, and ease-of-governance?
B - In tokens of the parent program of the campaigns which will use the tokens, in the "My Tokens" tab.

3 - Match the business need/use-case to the technology solution:
w - Personalizing email content beyond the normal limits of Marketo's email editor. - D
x - Sending data from Marketo to a 3rd party system - A
y - Personalizing web experiences or enriching/tracking web activities. - C
z - Sending data from a 3rd party platform to Marketo - B
Q1 - Program and Asset naming conventions are fundamental to system governance. Arrange the variables below sequentially to create a basic program naming convention. Mark any field optional as you see fit.
A1: [Program Type] [YYYY] [MM] [DD] [Description]
>>>>>
Q2 - In constructing a scoring model, where should score values be stored to improve flexibility, management, and ease-of-governance?
A2: B - In tokens of the parent program of the campaigns which will use the tokens, in the "My Tokens" tab.

Q3 - Match the business need/use-case to the technology solution:
A3:
w - Personalizing email content beyond the normal limits of Marketo's email editor = D - Velocity Scripting
x - Sending data from Marketo to a 3rd party system = A - Webhook
y - Personalizing web experiences or enriching/tracking web activities = C - JavaScript API
z - Sending data from a 3rd party platform to Marketo = B - REST API

Reply with your answers. Feel free to discuss why and review each other's responses.
1 - In supporting and managing a team, if assistance is needed, a leader should intervene immediately:
A - True
B - False
2 - SaaSy Corp needs to revise its scoring model. Which group below is most accurate in who should be involved in decision-making on scored behaviors?
A - CMO, CRM Admin, Web Developer, and Marketing Analytics
B - CMO, Sales Team Representative, Web Developer, and Marketing Operations
C - CIO, Sales Team Representative, Web Developer, and Marketing Operations
D - CMO, Marketing Operations, CRM Admin, and Sales Team Representative
@derelict_wombat
Will post answers after everyone has had time to answer.
Answer time -
1 - The answer is actually False! The advice is that the leader should ask for permission before intervening. It's a tricky one!
A good point for discussion is why - share your thoughts on this!
2 - Answer for this one is D! Most of you got this one right. Organizations do vary though, with different stakeholders having expertise.
From a standpoint of which is *most* correct though. The general centers of knowledge required are your Marketing/Ops and Sales teams. Feedback for the given mix of stakeholders could be something like:
A: Lacks input from sales
B: CRM Admin is more relevant than Web Dev. (Assume they have greater knowledge of sales funnel, cycle)
C: CMO is more relevant than CIO. (This is funnel-based, we're not acquiring platforms)
😧 Has marketing leadership, marketing and sales process stakeholders, and sales representation. This group would have a holistic perspective on the funnel, qualitative data and anecdotal insight about past deals and opportunities, and understand the implications of marketing automations and attributes as leads move through the funnel.
For Question 1 - I was thinking about it in the context of a migration or other time sensitive topic , thus I went with "True". But I very much feel like it could go the other way in other scenarios(day to day tasks, etc). It also completely depends on the organization and the maturity of the overall team. I've worked with teams that work very well independently and are empowered to "solve issues" themselves. But I've also worked with teams where its the opposite and they need a lot of hand holding. So while I agree that its generally "best" if the leader asks permission to step in to help its not always the right answer depending on the context.
Would love to hear others thoughts on this one.
1 - In supporting and managing a team, if assistance is needed, a leader should intervene immediately:
A - True
Assumption being this is following agreed escalation procedures and aligns with team culture. No one likes to be micromanaged.
2 - SaaSy Corp needs to revise its scoring model. Which group below is most accurate in who should be involved in decision-making on scored behaviors?
D - CMO, Marketing Operations, CRM Admin, and Sales Team Representative
Decision-making versus execution caused me to pause. In my orgs, CRM admins have been closer to pipeline and lifecycle data than web developers. B (CMO, Sales Team Representative, Web Developer, and Marketing Operations) would be my second choice.
1. Yes
2. B
🙂
Question 1
True (although i feel this question is missing some context and depends on the organization...but i have to choose at least one of them 😁)
Question 2
- Option D
My gut says D but at my org we included the web dev for browsing activity so I took a chance. I think your answer is right though!
@alludoalex Do you want us to post answers directly here?
Yes, that would be great.
Hi everyone!
One question I keep struggling with is the ones that are focused on ROI. It usually has something to do with the program analyzer reporting. For example, I have seen one in a previous practice exam where they give you the channel (example: Webinars, Tradeshows, etc...) and then they give you a bunch of numbers (MQLS, SQLS, opportunities, opportunity amount) and ask which one has the best ROI or which one should they stop focusing on? I understand what ROI is, but what is the best way to approach this question? It's a lot of wording, a lot of numbers and I feel like I am focusing on the wrong thing or missing something.
@nmillar - The test questions I've seen on this have been similar to below. My advice to you would be to not get too overwhelmed by the details and look for the lowest cost/investments first, and then ballpark the highest fractions.
Afterwards, read the question again and see if it checks out with the business concerns:
If you haven't answered this one, it's a great quiz question - so let me know your thoughts!
In this case they would increase their webinars right because that is the least expensive and producing high ROI? Thank you!
Yes, that's right, They're low cost, lowest accountable resources, and implicitly - fast to deploy.
When merging marketo instances, what would you say is the best way to prioritize campaigns/programs/assets that need to be moved over? Is it typical that the company being acquired always gets merged into the instance that acquired them?
For me whenever I am doing migrations I usually have an inventory sheet. I start with a few different categories
Nurtures
Campaigns
Emails
Landing Pages
Forms
I then prioritize based on what programs need to be running to keep the lights on such as Lifecycle, Lead Scoring, Demo Request, ect...
This is how i prioritize immediate things to move over vs nice to have! hope this helps 🙂
