Remove 'feature' where all Marketo emails appear in Salesforce.com as an email template

All emails in Marketo appear in Salesforce as a template that anyone can use if they are sending an email from Salesforce even though the checkbox for publishing to Salesforce is unchecked. It's crazy to assume that every email should auto-create a template for sales in SFDC with no way to turn it off.

You can change the access level of that email folder within SFDC by only allowing certain roles or profiles to see and use it.

Good point from Delinda, but I do wish they'd provide the ability to simply disable this functionality. There are other implications, the most frustrating being not having preview ability of the email that was sent (you instead have to drill down to the template).

I actually submitted a similar idea several months ago: https://community.marketo.com/MarketoIdeaDetail?id=08750000000IaaLAAS

Maybe between the two of these, we can get it pushed through.

Thanks, Delinda, but what I really have to do is every email I send, I have to log into SFDC and delete that template. I send several emails a week... these are not emails I want templates of and the integration with Sales Insight allows me a way to set up templates for sales that I do want them to use. The issue with both ways is that neither allows me to do proper analytics of them but that's a separate issue entirely.
