When targeting people, it would be optimal if you need a range 3 months out to 6 months out to include an "in future before" option.
This would allow, in my example, a targeted 2nd trimester of pregnancy list to easily be created vs. having to set a hard end date with just "before" since formulaic fields in SFDC do not force an update to Marketo due to no timestamp update on the record.
Geoff Krajeski - Agree this would be helpful and thanks for adding to my idea.
As a slight Salesforce workaround - instead of using a formula field, you could have the formula live in a Salesforce workflow updating a normal custom field or have a formula field trigger a workflow in Salesforce which then updates a normal custom field.
Certainly more complex than just having your constraint filter in Marketo, but thought I'd post if it helped out.
