The new Campaign inspector would be a great place to be able to mass deactivate smart campaigns. I also think it would be awesome if when we archived a folder the smart campaigns in the folder/program automatically deactive.
It would be extremely useful to have the ability to mass active/deactive from the campaign inspector. However, I think automatically deactivating smart campaigns when archiving could cause issues for some users. I like the ability to archive because it hides outdated assets from search, but I want them to work in the case that a lead happens to qualify for the campaign. Instead, I would like to see an option message displayed when you archive that gives the user the choice to keep campaigns active or deactive.
I am totally on board with the option idea. My biggest problem is that with hundreds of programs and several smart campaigns in each that deactivating them one at a time becomes an inefficient and time consuming chore that no one has time for.
I've been there, Shannan. From the campaign inspector, I have turned off over 200 campaigns manually over the course of a month and it was a pain and not the best way to use my time, but it had to be done due to issues with lead processing. I'm really hoping that this feature is on the Marketo roadmap somewhere in the next few months. Fingers crossed!
