About the Tasks: this process actually makes the task assigned to the Marketo Sync User -- and it also automatically completes the task too. So no worries about your sales reps getting extra tasks on their plate. As long as you save that Salesforce Report in a Public Folder (don't save it in your Pe...
@Rebekah H:Quick question -- when you say "tracking lead source", do you mean attributing the very first touchpoint as the source of a lead? Or do you mean you want to keep track of all touchpoints and assets the lead engages with over time?[Unfortunately I have no ideas about the second part of you...
Yes, you understand it correctly 🙂
This might not be the easiest way, but it think it will work pretty well for what you are trying to achieve. In your Marketo Admin area, in the Salesforce integration, "Sync Options", make sure you check "Email opened". Any idea how long that has been occuring? This is a bit extreme, but have you tried re-installing the app / packages in your SFDC instance? Could be an error in the app install that isn't updating all the fields or objects correctly.
No, you cannot edit your field mappings once the first mapping has been set up.However, the Support team can do this for you. Open a Support ticket and tell them which fields you'd like to be modified / remapped.
