I'd recommend always importing lists directly into programs when you can help it - to automatically assign membership and acquisition upon import. This also makes it easier to check performance and quickly spot check imports.
Hi Jamie,RCE would definitely help here. Without it however, you can kind of piece things together. First, I'd make sure all of your emails are going out and being tracked in the programs (by membership status) and that way you can aggregate see successes program over program (ex: clicks per cost/et...
I agree with Jessica in that it would definitely help us help you to see what kinds of metrics you're looking for and possibly from what sources. As a "phase 1" I'd be sure your channels and programs are setup to your marketing efforts (meaning ideally you have a channel per source - should map to l...
Hi Veena,Please provide more details on what you are looking to do... Is it just your MKTO database that has bad data, or is it also SFDC? Where do you see this bad data coming from? And what type of data - invalid leads, duplicates, etc.?You'd most likely want a vendor that can do this for you but ...
Hi Danielle,Unfortunately you cannot sync the response in a reply email directly back to MKTO or SFDC.However, if you do use the Sales Insight plugin you can log an incoming email (there should be a button that appears once you install it). That will log it back to that lead/contact's record in SFDC...

Just to add to most of these responses - I would absolutely pause them (don't lose the data!). Then tracking the success, it really depends if you are doing that in the engagement program level or not. You definitely want to have a success associated but you shouldn't double count it (engagement pro...
I agree with everyone here - it depends on the audience and also on the content. To Pierce's point - ASK! Or at least make different options available (think preference center). You will start seeing trends and be able to put the best cadences in place for your company.Kim
Hi Michael,Do you have engagement programs set up? A good effort for targeting these different audiences is through nurturing. In your example you could have a basic nurture for all leads (and nurture based on their stage in the funnel), and then also a customer (or up-sell nurture).Best,Kim
There's an example, Augie! We all have done it - there's too many different factors and things to think about and too much volume to never slip up.We have new posts (almost weekly) on this topic so be sure to follow them.
