I'm not sure if this is allowed (and if not, please let me know) but there are some great services that aren't too expensive that help with exactly this sort of thing. One in particular that I use, EmailOnAcid, has an option to upload your HTML and it will determine for you what will flag in certain ESPs (Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook, etc.). It will then give you a corrected version of the code so you can plug it back in to Marketo. Thanks Michael Florin and Sanford Whiteman, I really appreciate the help. For anyone reading this thread, I ended up going with Option B., as it matched my expected number of Non-Opens from Send 1 almost exactly. But the validity in both Sanford and Michael's statements (in terms of using resources that will remain unchanged in the system) definitely seems to show in the "almost" portion of that sentence, and in future sends I will definitely take that into consideration when using ActLog triggers.  ... So between the two choices below (please see inline images), am I correct in understanding that you suggest pursuing a route like option A. instead of option B. as a general best practice? If that is correct, what further non-ActLog filters should be added to insure that the entire customer database doesn't get sent the second send (which in the current quick config. that I setup below is the case)? To be honest, I was just trying that out to see if it worked, if currently Member of List is the more efficient way (or just the more logical way) I can definitely switch to that.  Good question: to my knowledge, if it would be redundant in a normal instance, than the same would be true for our instance, so I can make that update as well. To confirm, you are suggesting in a normal instance, removing step 3 (Not Was Added to List) and that it should function with just Not Opened Email? We didn't put together a guide per se, but one idea that helped our process was to reach out to the active players in the Lead Scoring conversation with an email survey (generated very easily through SurveyMonkey). We used it to gauge their opinion of different point values. We then used those totals in a meeting to finalize all of the point totals for the 15 behavioral scoring fields we decided to use.
