This is great, thanks for the tips! Looking forward to meeting everyone!
We just ran into this same issue today. After reading through Matt's response, not exactly sure what our next step should be. Lots of good info though!
We currently use Marketo to do some internal communications for new hires. Each sales related new hire is added to a triggered campaign of emails with basic wait steps. It's nothing too complex but is a great tool for our learning and development team.
Sounds great, I applied to start a Cincinnati MUG. Waiting for feedback from Marketo on getting it started. I will definitely keep you posted as we learn more!
I second that, we do this quite often for in-person events. Using a custom field to allow the contact to select the date or location in a dropdown on the form.
More specifically, information about upgrades to our product that will be affecting the customer. We have a series of emails that gets the customer prepared for the upgrades by giving them information and tasks. Are those considered to be operational? These are not promotional at all.
I've always wondered what defines an operational email. Do you know of any content that explains further?
Thanks for the information. If a lead starts in Stream 1 and receives email #1 and #2, then moves to Stream 2 and starts receiving emails, if they move back to Stream 1 they will pick up with email #3 correct?
Hi Nam, did this work for you? I am looking to do something similar in an engagement campaign. I would like leads to be able to move freely from stream 2 back to stream 1.
