I don't believe it should create duplicates in Marketo. Lead record would just be updated and SFDC type would change from lead to contact in this case.

Hi Pavan,We faced a similar issue and it turned out that Marketo sync user for SFDC didn't have visibility to opportunity fields.

We use On24 too. It has pretty sleek integration with Marketo, which is based on custom objects but does the job for us!
