Unfortunately, I don't think there is a way other than to turn on "Email Sent" in the Sync Options in the Admin section and it sounds like you just want the activity logged for these specific emails, not everything sent from Marketo.

Hi Lauren,What I'd do is make sure you have a constraint in there that the previous value is less than 50. That way you'll only alert reps when the Leads pass the 50 threshold, rather than your current set-up.

Hi Frank,I belieive you need to block updates for each individual field (First Name, Last Name, Company, etc.) you want to not update upon a Lead filling out a form.
Glad to help, I know it can be very frustrating when records don't match up between SFDC and Marketo. If you hear a definitive answer from support about the API changes, please post because I would love to know as well.
