If you spend long enough building in Marketo, you will very likely encounter scenarios where things don’t happen they way you’d expect. You may have two different smart campaigns - which are in themselves perfectly functional - produce a bad result because they didn’t execute in the right order.I wou...
Bryant ChangJust to confirm, I have done a number of Bizible/Marketo implementations and UTM parameters are the way to go. It's a pain but tokenize the URLs like Sanford suggests and then you can populate values at the program level and it's not so bad. Your email programs should ideally be tokeniz...
Thanks for sharing. Sanford Whiteman, please write more on this stuff. I've gotten stuck up some blind alleys with Velocity and had a hard time finding my way due to lack of detail in the docs. This is very helpful.
Right I see. I think then the only way right now is a Delete Lead API call, as there you can select by Marketo ID? (Presumably you have that Marketo ID for the leads you want to remove, as you have identified in SFDC which leads you wish to stop synching and you can identify the Marketo ID of those....

Duane KennersonRather than trigger off the GA event, it would be simplest to trigger a silent Marketo form submit at the same time (form could be just an email address, or whatever other data from the calculator you want to map in to Marketo fields). http://developers.marketo.com/blog/make-a-market...
Jill PurseIf you want something that is more out-of-box, try Bizible: Bizible | B2B Marketing Attribution & Analytics Software It "just works" out of the box, but is also very customizable/flexible for more unique requirements.
Hey Chris,Basically I think Josh nailed it when he asked you what your requirements are. I would try to define these in writing as clearly as you can. Here are some questions to ask yourself that may help. What type of firmographic data points are you looking for?Do you need contact-level data? Incl...
This is awesome work Courtney Grimes! Thanks for sharing. The capability to bring individual data back from GA into Marketo interests me a lot. Several years ago I explored this but ran into some obstacles including concerns around storing PII in GA and also data sampling in the standard edition of...
