@SandfordI understand that the best practice might be to avoid images altogether, but if the Munchkin code is technically an image, than that means that the email is going to prompt a "Download All Images" dialouge regardless. Or did I misunderstand?

Ah, so the email would have the "download all photos" even if there was no photo in it, since the Munchkin code technically counts as a photo?

I find it strange that not only can this not be prevented, but it doesn't seem to happen very often either.When you say "can't be prevented", I think you mean from a basic level? If you were to hide your Marketo tracking code in something like Google Tag Manager - wouldn't that help conceal the Munc...
