I agree with Dan. We are wrapping up the same exact thing as he lays out above. This sort of 2.0 email template will be a big win for us and our users. We worked with the folks at Revenue Pulse and they were great.

I agree with Josh. It's decent, but very basic. It's name (Marketo Event Check-in app) sums it up; it really is an app to be used only for checking people in at an event.
I agree with Dan. This is too bad. Hopefully you guys will eventually roll this out for default programs as well. The majority of our emails are sent as batch campaigns in default programs.

Thank you, Frank. This is helpful. Will we be able to "opt out" of sending in the recipient time zone? There may be times we will want everyone to receive an email at the same time. It would be ideal to control this per email.
