Thanks for the response, Jeff. This is in regards to Contact Roles on Account though, not Opportunities.But does your "Don't worry that if you click the dropdown and no values appear." apply for Accounts as well?
I logged into Salesforce as the Marketo sync user and I was able to see the Contact Roles related list under Accounts, so the Marketo sync user does have visibility to Contact Roles.

As Kaitlyn mentioned, customer stories that show the challenges, solutions, and results are invaluable. Include metrics if possible. Create a high impact video if possible.Depending on your customer profile, perhaps a referral program might help.
