Spending time with family and friends!
My family has changed so much over the years...what sticks out for me, though, is every year my mom made stuffed mushrooms. If anything means Thanksgiving, it's those mushrooms. Since moving to Michigan, I'd say the tradition has become driving Up North and commenting on "it's already snowing?!"
Dinner with family. Brining the turkey the night before. Usually chasing live turkeys out of our backyard in the morning while our dog goes insane.
watching football, going to my moms for lunch and then off to my inlaws for dinner.
We have a small family so usually its a small family gathering and then some competitive game play!
Canadian here, we visit my parents in Kelowna, BC and visit a lot of wineries.
Christmas Tree Day - The day after thanksgiving we pack the leftovers into a picnic, head for the mountains and find our Christmas tree.
We have a big family dinner with all the aunts, uncles, and cousins. We are up to about 43 people between all the cousins getting married and all our kids. It is total chaos, but the only day we can all get together at once. I always do the cookies, I make about 20 dozen, and they are all gone....it is a lot of fun.
Oysters & gin.
Eating lots of Turkey!
