Workspaces for email list segmentation?

Hello everyone!

I have a list of people who I need to be able to periodically send specific email updates to, but not all of our marketing emails and I need them not to sync with salesforce. I haven't used workspaces yet, but would this be a good solution for the scenario above?

No it is not.

Please take a look at the threads for Workspaces and Partitions as well as docs.marketo.com.

WP/LP is designed to let Business Units, Countries, or similar separate groups play in their own areas w/o impacting everyone. It helps lock down assets more and potentially restrict access to certain types of records, if you choose to bucket records that way.
