Wordpress/Marketo connection to create email newsletters

Hello, has anyone used a 3rd party tool which allows your Wordpress content to be accessible within a Marketo email template to create/deploy email newsletters? We are a news provider and what we're looking for is a tool which will allow our editors to access our WordPress content, select it to appear in one of our email newsletters, and select the list that the newsletter goes to, all without going into Marketo. I know there are some options out there, but wondering if anyone has experience with one (and please don't recommend Grazitti).

Thank you.

Rather than thinking “WordPress”, think “RSS”. And the answer is firmly Yes: check out FeedOtter and Digesto. Both are powerful platforms, largely overlapping feature sets but some special features.

Moderator's note: While self-promotion in general isn't allowed per Community Guidelines, we've reviewed this post. Since the product itself was mentioned by a third party, it's acceptable for FeedOtter folks to chime in.

Traditionally Digesto and FeedOtter have been known for automating RSS email/blog updates.
FeedOtter has a second product that was built to address the primary question of newsletters that relates directly to the original question.

Rather than automate the email content/creation.  It connects to the APIs of WordPress, NewsCred, UberFlip, GoogleDocs, and generic CMS systems ad-hoc.  It gives the user an interface to drag and drop content items into an email template/design.

We hear Brian's question frequently from companies that publish newsletters using a team of editors.  Ideally the editors do not have to enter Marketo to construct the email.  Rather, they can use a simple interface to select content and layout the email leaving the Marketo settings to the email team/person.

Full disclosure: I am the founder of FeedOtter but felt it was relevant to offer this solution which directly relates to Brian's original ask about newsletters, editors, and content workflow.
