We're thinking of offering a webinar capability within our shared services team. Of all of the vendors that natively integrate with Marketo, which one works best?
Hi Dan,
From what I have been testing, GoToWebinar and Webex do a great job. Easy to setup and providing accurate info back to Marketo. Another point to account for is the possibility to get the recording of the webinar in a standard (non legacy) format, typically mp4, so that setting up a "replay download" can be done with any streaming system, including youtube or Vimeo.
We had some bad experience with Adobe connect. To cumbersome, legacy file formats, ...
Now, we have not tested them all.

Hi Dan,
We use ReadyTalk and we're very happy with it, just thought I'd add that in! It's really worth checking out and their account managers and support team are incredible.
We use GoToWebinar here.. Pretty basic and straightforward. It would be great if the connection between the systems could pick up more than just a few fields of data (post-webinar survey information isn't sent over), but it does the job and doesn't cause us any headaches. For us, basic isn't bad if it doesn't cause any problems
GTW!!
Hi Dan,
We use GoToWebinar.
Currently working with a client trying to integrate BrighTalk, it is a PITA since they changed their integration to be a custom API service.
Have had success with GTW, WebEX and ReadyTalk.
I have experience with Gotowebinar (GTW) and Readytalk which both integrate well
Here are some advantages/disadvantes that might help with your decision:
- GTW gives you personalized confirmation/reminder emails in various languages so you don't have to set them up in Marketo
- Readytalk can't handle non-english characters which makes it a hassle to set-up webinars in for example other European languages
- With Readytalk you can cut your recording but it does not let you download it as .mp4
- If you have webinars with multiple presenters I would definitively recommend GTW. While setting up a webinar you enter all your presenters and can easily switch presenter rights during the webinar. In Readytalk you have to pre-upload presentations plus the size of a pre-recorded video is pretty low.
Thanks all - this is really helpful input. Since we are a global organization, sounds like GTW is the way to go.
