One more question about using Marketo and Zoom. This time we also have Constant Contact involved.
We have a different group (Outreach team) communicating with our customers using Constant Contact and they have been responsible for handling webinars. For previous webinars, the Constant Contact email that went out to prospective attendees included a link to a registration landing page built in Zoom. All registration data, including what level of schooling, any questions they had in advance, etc. was collected there. Any reports that needed to be generated (registration, attendance, etc.) were pulled from Zoom.
We (Marketing ) now have Marketo and will integrate Zoom with Marketo. We have a webinar planned in November and the teams want to use Constant Contact (email) and Marketo (LP) together before fully transitioning to Marketo in near future. We will have a following flow:
-Zoom will be integrated with Marketo and the webinar will be conducted via Zoom
-Landing page with a registration form will be built in Marketo
-The link to the landing page for the registration will be sent out to a list of customers using emails from Constant Contact
In this new scenario, the Constant Contact email will contain a link to a registration page built in Marketo. From what I can gather, Marketo then gives Zoom at minimum the first name, last name and email address to Zoom, which then auto-sends the confirmation email and link to the actual webinar back to the registrant.
I imagine registration reports will be pulled from Marketo with this method, since they’ll include more information. Am I correct? Do you see any potential issues in this scenario? Would it be better to use just Marketo & Zoom or Constant Contact & Zoom instead of all three?
