Hello,
I am trying to pull a list based on the "Person was Created" filter to be able to see the new leads to our system that came from a Facebook Lead form campaign. Under the "Person was Created" filter there is a constraint to narrow by the form completed, but not the facebook form completed. Is there another way to do this?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Use Person was Created and try adding the constraint "Person Source" instead, there appears to be an entry for "Facebook Lead Ads"
Note that after August with the data retention policy update, this filter will be impacted. You should take the opportunity now to set a unique lead source in a custom field (i.e. original utm_source) for all leads before dated leads get their activity history wiped.

Hey Mary,
Check this out: Use Lead Ads Filters and Triggers in a Smart Campaign - Marketo Docs - Product Documentation
Or you could do:
Person was created with UTM parameters filters?
Person was created and acquired by the program that you are using to capture these leads?

Not so... the filter Person was Created means the activity New Lead, and that's an activity which is specifically exempted from aging out:
Also, Person Source in general doesn't get automatically wiped because it already is a flat field stamped on the lead.
It's true that the Person Source, if set to value A at the point that New Lead fires, can be changed to value B later (if allowed in Field Management of course). But that doesn't change the operation of a filter on New Lead, since it uses the value persisted at the activity level. In other words, the original Person Source, if it were usable as a constraint on New Lead in the first place, would continue to be usable in perpetuity.
If Person Source happens to change from value A at New Lead, to value B later, and again to value C, then you would need to stamp value B to an additional custom field to keep it available (since the Change Data Value will age out).
Thanks for clarifying
Did you read my response, Mary Kate?
Yes, the information provided was helpful, thank you!
And have you tested the constraint on New Lead?
