Tracking Multiple Opens

I noticed Marketo will not track multiple opens of a single email in the Activity log. I believe this is due to image caching. We currently have a program where we resend the same creative to a single lead, this might happen once every two years. Is there anyway we would be able to track the opens for each send of this email? For example, is there something I can update in the email creative to make sure an open is tracked each time? I have already tested adding text and images to the creative and changing the subject line, none of these options worked.
