When we make a post on social media, how do you shorten a URL link posted on social media to drive them to certain pages on your website?

Are you talking about a URL like bit.ly or goog.le? Or something more like www.YOURCOMPANY.com/PROMOTIONNAME?

You can do this on URL shortner sites like https://bitly.com/ or http://ow.ly/url/shorten-url

There are many out there.
