Set up demographic scoring campaign

Could you please tell me how to set up a demographic scoring campaign.

I have created a SC that schedules demographic campaigns to be scored weekly with the following criteria

Example (The following are separate SCs created)
・smart campaign A
Filter criteria: x departments Flow: +10 for demographic score, +10 for lead score

smart campaign B
Filter criteria: department y Flow: +20 for demographic score, +20 for lead score

Smart campaign C
Filter condition: department z Flow: +30 for demographic score, +30 for lead score

Since we have also set up a separate campaign for behavior score, we have included a setting to add to the lead score as well.

However, with the above settings, the same score is added to each lead in the corresponding department each time.

We did not use a trigger campaign because we wanted to use a badge campaign that would not overload the system, and we did not need to immediately take into account departmental changes.

I thought about using the lead qualification rule on the schedule tab to run a campaign only once for each lead, but then any lead with an empty department field at the time the campaign was run would not be eligible for the next campaign.

How should we solve this problem?

Thank you.

Hi @Risako ,

Can you share the screen shot of your Flow step.

Meanwhile, check if your schedule tab have Qualification Rule set to: " Each person runs through once". With this it will exclude all the leads who have already been assigned the score & only new leads will run through this recurring batch campaign.

Hope this helps 😊

Re: Set up demographic scoring campaign

@Risako, we normally use trigger campaigns for scoring -- both demographic and behavioral. However, if you wish to use batch campaigns for the demographic scoring, you'd want to set it as a recurring batch campaign that ideally runs daily with people allowed to run through the campaign flow 1x every day (or you can keep it as every time as well -- since the campaign is only gonna run 1x every day). Additionally, you don't need to create separate batch campaigns for each value of the Dept field; you can just have 1 campaign and use Choice Steps in the Change Score flow action like below:

I'd also recommend creating score tokens and using the tokens instead of hard-coding the values in the campaign flow. This way, you'd avoid chances of mistypes/errors, and most importantly, you'd have to just update the token value instead of having to update all the places in case it's hard-coded.
