I need to restore a Marketo user. She was deleted from the system by a previous admin. Now it's saying her user ID already exists, even though she does not appear under users. Is there a way to reinstate her?
I've had that issue before - the user is still sitting somewhere in the back end. You'll need to go to Marketo support and ask them to clear it so you can reinstate the login. It's a nightmare!
I had faced this problem in one of our previous organisation. In a few cases, since there were tons n tons of marketo users, it was just about finding the correct email address, deleting it and resending them the invite. But if you are not able to see the user in the list of users, then like Diana advised, getting in touch with support is the only real option.
