Re: "Lead Score" Field updated in SF, but not in Marketo

Hi, we're running a data fix on the "Lead score" field in SF (API Name: mkto71_Lead_Score__c).

It looks like the data is not reflected back in Marketo, so we have gap between the two systems. After few minutes Marketo is overriding the data in SF.


Do you know what could be the reason for that? we don't have block updates on this field on the Marketo side, or any other smart campaigns running on it.

Last I recall, Score type fields are not updated from CRM (Marketo always wins) unless you specifically ask support to make them bidirectional.

How is the data being fed to this field in Salesforce? Which tool is your source of truth (Marketo or SFDC)? Also, do you know what field type this field is in SFDC? If it's a formula field, updating that field alone will not trigger an update in Marketo.
