I have a query regarding Predictive Content. I have created an Email where I used predictive content on 2 Images with different links. Now, my question is if I send out that Email to a list of audience, will the images populate differently for the audience as per their past preferences? Or everyone will receive the same Images with links.

Hi!!
Marketo Predictive Content uses machine learning algorithms to analyze user interactions and behavioral data, creating a profile for each recipient based in it's demographics and behavior data.. The algorithm scores and ranks content based on relevance to the recipient's profile. When sending the email, the highest-scoring content is dynamically selected for each recipient, ensuring personalized and engaging content delivery. Marketo is continuously learns and refines its predictions with each interaction.
When you are doing a preview or sending samples to test it, it wont work as when sending a sample to any email it wil choose a random option of your predictive content, not based in the ML Algorithm. For preview image as @SanfordWhiteman said it's the same scenario
In the preview of the email, have you tried to "View By" > "List" > {emails} to test how it would appear to different email addresses belonging to the list?
This should give you a true preview of what the different users would be delivered.
That concept won’t work with Predictive Content.
Hi,
Predictive Content leverages the power of Marketo Content AI to discover & then display most relevant content from your content approved for predictive.
Content AI uses the attributes of the leads in your database to display content & tracks the number of views on these materials.
It employing predictive analytics to determine which is your top performing content and recommends the best content to the right person.
Predictive content works best when you have a large amount of content on your website and you want to let the AI present the best content. Dynamic content is more focused and would benefit a limited set of content.
You can also define your content for specific categories for example some images you want to be only displayed for your leads from specific industry or region you can create these categories & select them while making the content predictive.
To test you predictive content click on the preview button on the right corner of your email editor & click on refresh to see different images being populated.
To have it best use of predictive content it advisable you should have 5 or more pieces of content per source (Email, Rich Media, bar).
Hope this helps.
