Pre-fill form does not work

Hi,

I am trying to make one of my forms to be pre-filled so that leads will not double fill the same information. I followed the documentation on it, but it did not work. The steps I followed are:

- have form pre-fill enabled at field level in the form

- have the form pre-fill option enabled on the LP

- checked the mkt_tok box on the link (URL) inside the email

- sent myself a sample email

- clicked the link in the sample email

 

I've even filled the form an repeated the last 2 steps, but still nothing. 

 

If somebody knows how I can make this work please let me know.

I don't remember right now, if a sample email is sufficient to trigger form pre-fill. To be sure, send yourself that email through a Smart Campaign and check if the link is actually redirected through your branded tracking domain.

 

And if that doesn't work: Delete your landing page domain cookies. I'm not kidding.

Yes, never use Send Sample to test anything but general layout. And even then, don't really trust it, since it doesn't work with Velocity tokens.
