My company is in the middle of a rebrand, but we still need to promote current and upcoming webinars in the meantime. I’ll need to build some webinar landing pages using our existing (old) branding while the new template is being developed.
Once the new brand landing page is ready, is it possible to redirect the old landing page URL to the newly branded version? Alternatively, could I unapprove the old page and then reuse the exact same URL for the new landing page?
I’d appreciate any guidance or best practices around this. Happy to clarify anything if helpful.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Yes its possible for marketo hosted landing pages.
Steps:
Go to Admin
Select Landing Pages
Open Rules
Click New Redirect Rule
Enter
Original page URL
Destination URL
Approve and wait a few minutes, then test it incognito window.
This works only on Marketo hosted pages.

You can do either of these.

To be pedantic, the source is expected to be a Marketo-hosted LP, but the redirection target can be any URL.
And in fact the source URL need not be in Marketo anymore, it just needs to have existed when the rule was created — if it’s been deleted, you can use Marketo as a redirection engine only, with no backing LP!
Thanks so much! I'll try this.
