My IT person configured our Cnames, however when I went to change the branding domain in the admin email field, I came across this error message: "No CNAME found for branding domain: "
Any advice on how I can update my cname?
I'm talking about the actual hostname. There's no reason to hide that kind of thing here as it just makes troubleshooting more difficult.
But that hostname is owned by Marketo. What is the CNAME on one of your domains that you're trying to point to that hostname?
You are correct- I was using the wrong cname. IT supplied this cname: EmailTrackingMKTO.outsellinc.com and I'm receiving an error message in Marketo when I try to update the email branding domain:
The CNAME for the branding domain: EmailTrackingMKTO.outsellinc.com is invalid and needs to point to a Marketo server (Subscription ID:42)
OK. That CNAME does exist and points to outsellinc.mktoweb.com. It should be pointing to mkto-ab110042.com.
