Re: New Email Templates

I'm interested in expanding our email template library.  Can anyone recommend any good, reliable third party providers that have quality templates that will import?  I've tried knak and am just looking for others.  Thanks!

Hello Geg,

We're expertise in creating responsive email templates. Here's a link that provide you with the email templates galore from where you can import various email templates and all of them mobile friendly.

Hope you find what you're looking for!!

Hi Greg,

I've also been using Knak for the past few months and have been extremely satisfied with them. They have a good variety of email and landing page templates and if I need to modify them I can do so with basic HTML/CSS knowledge. What I love most about Knak is that if there is something I can't modify myself they're there to help me. I've even downloaded a template with the wrong social media icon and they fixed it and emailed it to me before I even noticed the error.

I'd say stick with Knak as they're growing fast and open to developing products that will work for you.

Greg,

We're a Knak customer as well and have been very satisfied with their library of templates. Their templates for landing pages and emails are easy to customize and very well designed. The templates work great out the box but if you need to make a few modifications, it's pretty easy. I'm by no means a front end developer but I know enough about HTML/CSS and bootstrap framework to easily modify their templates for our needs. I would echo Drew's post by saying their customer service is great and they are very responsive. Pierce Ujjainwalla has walked me through some Marketo setups and definitely learned a thing or two from him.

Seen a glimpse of what they have in the development pipeline and it's some cool stuff.

Hey Greg -

I ran into a similar situation and researched a few different options to expand our email and landing page template library. From what I gathered, Knak is the best option.

If you're not finding a specific template style, send them an email. The guys at Knak are super nice and willing to help you build just about anything.

After speaking with the Knak Team, they are also working on making templates completely customizable with a "Drag n' Drop" feature. You'll also be able to create and save a template library, where you can go back and make edits to previous creations. They understand that they're a "one trick pony" right now and that they need to expaind, so I wouldn't write them off just yet!

I'm sure Pierce Ujjainwalla can further expand on Knak's plans for the future if you're looking for more information. He's helped me out several times in the past. Best of luck!

Thank you.  Yes, I've downloaded all of the ones they have there, but most simply don't fit our needs and so many of the elements are difficult to customize.  I was hoping Marketo would update their library.  Very stale.

Hi Greg,

If you want an alternative to develop customized emails faster, you can also check the Email template builder from Hoosh Marketing. You save time by creating and editing the email directly in the tool, with no coding required.seg?add=3901497&t=2

We use another solution too : we have created a library of snippets in Litmus email builder. It enables to assemble a template from components very quickly, and we benefit from the litmus environment to immediately test it on all devices. Not really a library of ready to use templates, but a very efficient way of producing what we need very flexibly. unlike Hoosh or Knak It takes HTML/CSS skills, though.

Similarly, I believe you can do that with snippets in Marketo. Check out One Template to Rule Them All

HI Andy,

The post you are referring too is more about landing pages. Email template still miss a lot of things, such as variables. And some tehnologies you could consider for LPs are not applicable to emails, such as variable hiding or displaying template blocks (not supported by many email clients) or javascripts (puts your email directly to the anti-virus box).

Litmus Builder snippets in fact are quite different from Marketo snippets. Just the name is the same. Litmus builder is really a great tool to create Marketo email templates. Some other tools such as Knak are excellent as well, easier to get to but less flexible.

Good point.

I wasn't a fan of Knak because of that specific reason. I'll look into Litmus though. Good call out.

Wow - Litmus Builder!  Didn't even know this existed.  We're definitely going to look further into this as potential core solution to add to our team's toolbox.

Yes, I've gone through all of those and have imported the ones I like.  Just looking for something a little more "out of the box" that is ready-made.  Thanks!

I wanted to see the pricing for Hoosh based on your recommendation but they have a required popup form in front of their pricing information! It may seem great for them at first - getting data on Anonymous leads who seem interested - but now I'm avoiding that page since I'm not ready to convert and may not follow up with them later. Not the best LP experience!

Thanks, Greg.  Have you had good luck with them?  I went on their site, but was hoping to see some samples of their templates.  They do not have any posted, only a few screen shots.  I guess you have to get the "sales pitch" before they'll let you see the templates?
