Hi there,
I have a Marketo form that doesn't show up for everyone that goes to the landing page its on. (https://www.mohawkconnects.com/marketing-page/cultureofcraftsignup)
I thought it was a cache or browser issue at first, however, someone reached out to us and said that ad trackers were blocking it.
Is there a way I can adjust this from happening so the form always shows up?
Thanks,
Ariel
Sounds like a job for a developer. Sanford Whiteman ?
Seriously, you should hire someone to do this for you if Sanford can't give you a quick answer.
Marketo forms will be blocked by an ad blocker or privacy plugin that blocks *.marketo.com. This is perhaps unfair to forms, since they are not themselves tracking tools, but they are collateral damage since Marketo does run a tracking tool (Munchkin).
The solution is to load forms from an LP domain to obscure the Marketo origin. (//pages.example.com as opposed to //app-xxyy.example.com). You'll also need to upload a custom file to your Marketo instance to make the migration complete. I've written a lot about this on the forums if you search for "ad blockers."
There's nothing specifically wrong with the way you're loading the form, you just aren't taking these extra measures.
Hi Sanford - Could you please point me in the direction of the write-ups you've done on this topic in the forums? I can't seem to find them and would really like to know about about this topic. Thanks in advance!
