Marketo Event App - Program Status Won't Change

We are holding a live event next week and would like to use the Marketo check-in app to change attendees from the Registered Status to Attended. In addition, when their status moves to Attended, a smart campaign will trigger by Fills Out Form to then send that attendee their agenda/materials for the show.

We have tested several smart campaign flows, but still can't get registrants to move to the Attendee program status. We have tried the trigger Fills out Form as well as a redunenet trigger where its "If program status changes to Attended then in the flow change program status to attended". The thought was there may be some delay in the app changing the status and the smart campaing being triggered.

Any thoughts on how to use the event app to just change program status? Then is we can solve that, how to use the status change to automate an email to send event materials?

Not exactly sure how you are testing it here, but I'd read carefully the manual again.

• ipad app events only appear 7 days before the actual event time you posted in the Program.
• ipad app will change the Status FOR you whenever you mark the person as Attended
• Thus, your trigger should be Program Status Changes in this Program to Attended, then run this Flow. Not sure why you are trying to use Fills Out Form.
• yes, there may be a brief delay between the ipad and the system. You should be able to test that before the event.

There is a button at the top of the app that requires you to "sync" the attendees from the app to Marketo.  DId you do that?
