Re: Marketo change the value because of the String field length in SF

Hello Marketo community!

I have this issue for some weeks ago that my source of a lead change auto. in Marketo from:
0EM50000000T7hd.png

The reason for this is that there is a limit in SF with 43 characters, and that is fine (or I can do anything about it).

But do someone have a solution for this what we can do about it? We doesn't want this do change. 

can someone help here?

Can figure out what to do.

You could recreate this as a custom picklist in Salesforce. 

Custom picklists allow up to 255 characters per entry as opposed to 40 characters for standard picklists.

@ Justin Thanks for your answer, I think that would do it. But do you know if its possible do change e field dom picklist to Custom picklist??

Yes and there is a string length on the field in SFDC of 43 characters, but can someone figure out a solution for this problem? You know, think creative

Looks like SFDC is the culprit here. Did you check the string length on the field in SFDC?
