We've been using the Linkedin Lead Gen Form connection with Marketo for some time. You need to reset the integration every now and then as it expires. Besides that it used to work flawlessly until very recently. Now, any new leads acquired through Linkedin Lead Gen are not being created directly into Marketo so we have to import them through CSV. We already contacted Marketo support but haven't got any final response.
Anyone having similar problems lately?
I can see all forms but 1- that has leads against it. I re-synched a few times, i removed the service and added back in, I paused LI campaigns then reactivated and still can't see the one form when trying to build a smart list. I put in a support ticket but assume they will not be able to help.
anyone else have scenario that they see all forms but one?
Exactly the same thing has happened to us. Working perfectly then at some point in Dec/Jan it has failed to sync across to marketo. We have been extracting a csv from linkedin and manually importing the leads.
Will try deleting and re creating the launchpoint service as suggested.
Did it work Tim? The suspense is killing me
Same issue here. I was able to see LinkedIn forms in Marketo previously and select them in my filters. Now, I'm advertising on a different LinkedIn account where I'm also the Account Manager (I manage 2 accounts) but the new LinkedIn forms just don't show up in Marketo. I relaunched the Launch Point and turned off and on etc. Nothing helped.
Thanks,
Yulya
Hi Yulya! Did you get your issue fixed? With you using 2 accounts I would recommend checking that you have integrated both to flow though to your Marketo - as we had a secret account that wasn't!
Actually, I recently read that Marketo didn't even have the feature to link two LinkedIn accounts. I was wondering all the time how can it be that one account can be linked but not the other. Anyway, they now allow to link two accounts and I will try it out for the next campaign. Although, I didn't have so much success with the Lead Gen Form in general. Especially because the email addresses that are being submitted are not business ones but private ones. That makes our data even more dirty.
Oh yes we had this issue - we have our field label on the LinkedIn form set to read 'Business Email' and this has helped a surprising amount! Best of luck
are you sure there's been activity against those forms? they only show up after being filled out at least once
I know and this morning a lead filled it out in LinkedIn, still nothing shows up. 😞
Is there a certain period of time I need to wait?
Sorry Yulya for not answering earlier. We finally solved the issue by removing and re-adding the Launchpoint Linkedin Lead Gen Form service as well as turning off and on the LinkedIn campaigns affected. I also noticed some leads didn't have enough time to sync so I placed a 1 minute wait step before any program status change was enforced. Now things are working fine. However I do tend to review every now and then that all leads are being synced. So far, all good.
Hi guys, I just received an answer from Support. So you might want to double check your Lead Gen campaigns are loading leads in correctly. Literally what support said:
There seems to be an issue with the integration between LinkedIn and Marketo that affects several customers. This is currently under review.
Did this progress for you at all? We have been working with support for over a week now trying to resolve this and I'm curious if there are other answers or things to try out there.
Hi Andre,
Yesterday support came back to us with the following:
What has worked for other customers regarding this issue was to remove and re-add the Launchpoint service as well as turning off and on the LinkedIn campaign. Could you kindly have a go at this and let me know if leads are able to come through again?
So I tried this out. Leads now do walk directly into Marketo, but there are still some leads that go through weird program status changes. For instance, if one of the Linkedin Gen Forms was capturing leads to attend a webinar, a new lead would not enter as "registered" into our Marketo program, but rather as "Not in Program", so that lead doesn't sync over to our Webinar platform in order to generate the personal link, bla, bla... I kind of fixed it putting a 1min wait step before the Change Program Status Flow step to give the Linkedin-Marketo sync enough time to set the lead in the right status and now it does work fine (so far).
Hope it helps!
Thanks for this Mario, we have just done the same thing this morning and now anxiously waiting for any new records to come in!
I am having the same issue and also have an active support case right now. We had been working on this same project in December last year and hit the same roadblock of being unable to see any forms from LinkedIn in Marketo. Hoping there is some sort of resolution soon, but I don't think it's an issue with our integration configuration.
Thanks as well Andre, I will share with you any news I get from Marketo.
I haven't noticed -- I'd better go check. As far as I know ours has been working fine. Will post back if I find differently.
Been seeing issues around this and FB. Contact Support.
Thanks josh, I had already contacted Support before I started this discussion, but nothing helpful from their side yet. Will wait to see what they come back with, but at least I am sadly relieved to see it is not something I am suffering alone.
