A handful of new leads were automatically system unsubscribed upon list import with the reason "System flow action sysActionChangeDataValue resetLeadEmailStatus" and no attachment to a trigger campaign to take this action. Why would the system unsubscribe these leads?
Solved! Go to Solution.
These leads existed in your Marketo in the past, were unsubscribed, and deleted. The Durable Unsubscribe functionality automatically unsubscribed them again when you imported the list, retaining their preference to not receive marketing emails.

Hi Steven,
If a previously deleted, unsubscribed lead comes back into the system from a form submit, will the 'durable unsubscribe' always take action and unsubscribe the lead again? Or is it limited to a specific time frame?
What I mean is, does Marketo store the unsubscribe information of deleted leads forever or just for, e.g. 30/100 days/a year?
Many thanks,
Mareike
Durable unsubscribe is permanent.
Hi Sanford,
Is there a way to identify people whose unsub changed due to System Action resetLeadEmailStatus? I am trying to locate it as a query field..
Thank you, worked perfectly.
