How to map an account field via Marketo

We have a marketo form which when filled gets synced to Salesforce as a lead. This form contains a field "technology footprint" to gather data from whoever fills that form.Currently, the information provided is stored at Lead level in Salesforce. In our Salesforce instance, we have a similar field "technology footprint" at Account Level. I was tyring to figure out a way so that if someone fills this form, the "technology footprint" gets synced to both Lead level and Account level in Salesforce. Can anyone suggest a flow to achieve this.

Unfortunately you will not be able to write to Account fields directly from Marketo out of the box. Having said that, if you so choose to allow Marketo to write to these Account fields, you can request that functionality be turned on from the Support team. You also have the ability to create workflow rules that can map this data within Salesforce itself.

You should go into SFDC field admin and have the Lead field map to the Account field. This will bring over the lead's info when the lead is converted to a contact AND creates a NEW account at the same time.
 

You will have to backfill in Account info in SFDC.
