Hi,
I just saw some company's promo campaign on Twitter. It has one promo code on the ad, and it has a deadline to redeem it. I wonder how we could set up the similar campaign.
Our current contact-us form has a custom text field, but the backend is not checking whether the code is valid (not misspelled) or is still effective. (You know, if you go to some retailer website and enter the coupon code, sometimes the form replies immediately that the code is valid or not.)
FYI, our Marketo package doesn't have the referral offer function (I mean this one Use Promo Codes for Offer Fulfillment - Marketo Docs - Product Docs).
Kanako,
Maybe a smart campaign can look for the form being filled with that custom field spelled exactly how the code is spelled and the flow can be to send them a confirmation email. You won't be able to schedule the deactivation of the trigger campaign though, but you can deactivate it manually once the code expires or change the confirmation email to alert them the code is no longer valid and keep the running.
Actually this is possible in real-time. I have a draft blog post about how to do it if you hold on a few days.
Great, could you post the link to your blog post once it's done?
Thanks for the bump, yes, so far behind...
Last night I was trying to achieve this in real time.. but no success. Can you please give me a hint of what are you doing?
Thank you
