How can I track leads that use a different email address when joining then the one we sent the email to

We find that people frequently use a different email address when they register with us then the one we used on the prospecting email we sent them. Is there anyway I can tie them back to the email that brought them to the site. We don't use Marketo forms for registration.

You could use a smart list with the duplicate filter by Name and then sort by Name. Then you can merge clear dupes.

Unfortunately, if you aren't using Marketo forms, there's no other way to merge the tracking data...unless I am missing something about your situation.
