Help troubleshooting inconsistent GA & Marketo data

Hi everyone,

We launched a new gated publication yesterday and Marketo shows that >500 people have completed the form fill, but Google Analytics is only showing us 208 downloads. I've spot checked the Marketo data and it looks correct.

We are tracking gated asset requests in Google Analytics, not specific URLs so we don't think the marketo tokens added to our email URLs is the culprit. We also are using our website pages (wordpress) for these gated assets, not Marketo landing pages, and we are triggering a PDF download of the asset via our website once the form is submitted, not emailing the resource.

Has anyone had success troubleshooting a similar issue?

You have to show the code you're using to log Marketo form fills as GA events.  It's very easy to get that wrong.
